The app that turns "Let's hang soon" into a real meet up

Connexus automatically schedules meetups with your friends — checks both calendars, finds a time that works, and gets it confirmed. No back-and-forth, no "we should sort something soon."

Most people lose half their close friends every seven years.

Most people don't want to lose touch with friends — the problem isn't caring, it's the coordination. No one wants to be the one who always has to chase.

"Sarah and Mark used to grab dinner every month. Then new jobs, new stress, new friends. One year passed. Connexus suggested Tuesday the 14th — both confirmed in under a minute. They're back to monthly."

Before Connexus
  • The group chat spiral

"Does next Saturday work?" — 14 messages later, nothing confirmed.

  • Nobody reaches out

You suggested plans last time. You don't want to be "that person" again.

  • Plans quietly forgotten

You meant to catch up 3 months ago. Life got in the way.

With Connexus
  • Connexus proposes a time

Checks both calendars and suggests the perfect slot — no nudging required.

  • See Who's Free

Friends can see when you are free and want to hang out

  • Broadcast Activities

Have something you want to do? See who else is down.

Three ways to stay close.

Connexus handles the friend scheduling automatically — so you spend your energy on the meetup, not on organising it.

  • 1
Set your frequency per friend — every 2 weeks or every 6 months. Your number is private; they never see it.
  • 2
Connexus finds a slot — it checks both calendars, averages your frequencies, and proposes the most suitable time slot.
  • 3
Both confirm with one tap — reschedule up to 3 times if needed. Confirmed meetup can be added to Apple Calendar.

⚙️ How the scheduling algorithm actually works

01
Frequency averaging

You set a private frequency per friend (e.g. every 6 weeks). Connexus averages both your preferences.

02
Calendar scanning

The algorithm reads both calendars (read-only) and filters out blocked times, existing meetups, and early mornings/late nights based on each person's availability patterns.

03
Slot scoring

Remaining slots are scored by how well they match both people's preferred days and times of day. The highest-scoring mutual window becomes the proposal — typically 2–4 weeks ahead.

04
Confirm or reschedule

Both get a notification. Accept with one tap, or reschedule up to 3 times.

Also included: Spontaneous Meet Ups

  • 1
Post a time slot — morning, afternoon, or evening. Choose which friends can see it.
  • 2
Friends tap "I'm Interested" — Connexus opens Whatsapp/imessage so you can coordinate directly.
  • 3
Browse by date — check the "Who's Free" tab any day to see which friends have posted availability.
  • 1
Post what you want to do — a movie, a hike, dinner — with a rough time.
  • 2
Choose who sees it — all friends or hand-picked people. Always private from anyone outside your mutual connections.
  • 3
Friends tap "I'm in" — Connexus connects you on WhatsApp/imessage. You might be surprised who shares the same interest.

"I'd been meaning to see my best friend for six months. We kept saying 'let's sort something soon' and never did. Connexus got us in the calendar in two days — we didn't have to do anything."

A note from the founder

I built Connexus because I kept losing touch with close friends after moving cities — not because we stopped caring, but because no one ever found the time. I wanted an app that takes the awkward "we should catch up soon" off both of us, and just makes it happen.

— Kelly, Founder of Connexus

Common questions

A friend doesn’t need to download the app to confirm a meetup — they receive a link and confirm via the website. You can also use the app to track friendship and to give yourself reminders.
Yes. Connexus is free to download and use. There are no paid tiers planned for core features.
Texting requires both of you to be proactive at the same moment. Connexus removes that friction — it initiates the scheduling for you, based on a frequency you've already set, so no one has to feel like they're always the one reaching out.
No. Your frequency preference is completely private. The app uses the average of both your preferences to propose a time, but neither person ever sees the other's number.
When a meetup is due, Connexus searches the next 6 weeks for available slots. It filters out calendar-blocked times and existing meetups, then scores remaining slots based on how well they match both people's preferred days and times. The top-scoring slot becomes the proposal.
You can reschedule up to three times. After three reschedules, the meetup quietly cancels and Connexus will propose a new time when the frequency comes around again — no guilt, no pressure.
Yes — Connexus reads your Apple Calendar to avoid proposing meetups when you're already busy. It's strictly read-only: it never adds, edits, or deletes any events without your explicit confirmation.
