Getting started

Connexus is a free iOS app that automatically schedules meetups with your close friends. You set how often you want to see each friend — every two weeks, every two months, whatever feels right — and Connexus checks both your calendars and proposes a time that works. No back-and-forth, no "we should sort something soon" that never happens.
Anyone who wants to stop losing touch with friends but finds coordination exhausting. It's especially useful after life changes — moving cities, starting a new job, having kids — when the effort needed to stay in touch quietly goes up and the meetups quietly go down.
A friend doesn't need to download the app to confirm a meetup — they receive a link and can confirm via the website. You can also use the app to track friendships and give yourself reminders even without the other person being on Connexus.
Yes. Connexus is free to download and use. There are no paid tiers planned for core features.

How it works

When a meetup is due, Connexus searches the next 6 weeks for available slots. It filters out calendar-blocked times and existing meetups, then scores remaining slots based on how well they match both people's preferred days and times. The top-scoring slot becomes the proposal. Both people then accept, reschedule, or the app retries — no chasing required.
You can reschedule up to three times. After three reschedules, the meetup quietly cancels and Connexus will propose a new time when the frequency comes around again — no guilt, no pressure.
Texting requires both of you to be proactive at the same moment — someone has to feel like they're always the one reaching out. Connexus removes that friction entirely. It initiates the scheduling based on a frequency you've both implicitly set, so the nudge comes from the app, not from either person.
These are two spontaneous meetup features alongside the core scheduler. Who's Free lets you see which friends have marked themselves as free right now or this weekend — great for last-minute plans. Meet Up Broadcast lets you send a message to multiple friends at once ("anyone free for coffee Saturday?") without the awkward group chat dynamic.

Privacy

No. Your frequency preference is completely private. The app uses the average of both your preferences to propose a time, but neither person ever sees the other's number. You can set "every 2 weeks" for one friend and "every 6 months" for another — they'll never know.
Yes — Connexus reads your Apple Calendar to avoid proposing meetups when you're already busy. It's strictly read-only: it never adds, edits, or deletes events without your explicit confirmation. Your calendar data is used only to find a suitable slot and is never stored or shared.
No one can see your calendar events or your schedule. The only thing others see is whether you've marked yourself as free via the Who's Free feature — and that's entirely opt-in, each time you do it.
